Why Australia Lends Itself To A Camping Culture

If you live in Australia or know someone living in the large island continent I am sure you are well aware of how strongly ingrained into the national culture that camping is.

People who live outside of Australia may not understand why, but there are a couple of things that definitely lend themselves to camping.

1. The Amazing Weather

Anyone who visits Australia is sure to comment on how perfect the weather is. With warm temperatures almost year round, and a limited rainy season, the weather definitely lends itself to getting outside – and this is exactly what camping allows you to do.

2. A Large & Diverse Landscape

Australia isn’t small country. For the size of the population, it is actually quite large. This means that there is a large amount of area that is not heavily populated and when you mix this with the beauty of the Australian landscape and how diverse it is from region to region, more great reasons to get out and holiday away from the populated areas.

So why not look at some camper trailers or tents, get the family together (or go with friends) and experience the outdoors the next time you want to get away. It is a great way to see the country, build relationships and have a lot of fun.
